Other Notices
“Real Lives” Christian Festival begins on 27th April with meetings every evening culminating in a joint service of the churches involved on Sunday 3rd May in Bridgend Recreation Centre starting at 5.00pm. Please note this will replace our regular evening service in Bethel. Please be in prayer for the Lord to use this witness for the gospel and pray for those involved in speaking, especially Roger Carswell, our main speaker. (Website: www.real-lives-bridgend.org)
Church Meeting with our architect will be on Thursday 7th May at our usual time of 7.00pm. This meeting is open to all (not just church members) and will be an opportunity to discuss our plans to extend the building.
Baptism of Val Plowman will be on Sunday 10th May during the evening service. We are very pleased to be able to baptise Val and would ask you to pray for her and for members of her family who will be visiting on that day. The service will start a little earlier than usual at 5.00pm with refreshments following.
WEST Annual Meeting will be on Saturday 16th May, 2.30pm at WEST. The speaker will be Gary Benfold from Bournemouth. All welcome and refreshments will be served following.
Ben Griffin will be visiting us on Sunday 17th May to preach and to tell us more about their plans for mission work in Ivory Coast (working with UFM)
Support for Romania are collecting items for another trip. If you would like to provide anything, please consult the list on the notice board and give any items to Dave and Beryl.
